With Hilda Santiago on the ballot, we have an incredible opportunity to engage with a group of voters that Democrats depend on, a group that can be a foundational part of our Party moving forward.  But we can't take the Latino community for granted—in the last midterm, 196,000 Connecticut Latinos stayed home. With Hilda on the top of the ticket, though, turnout in 2022 will be electric. A 15% turnout increase among Latinos represents 30,000 new Democratic midterm voters. With Democrats up and down the ballot facing a difficult election, we can't afford to have anyone other than Hilda as our endorsed candidate for Secretary of the State. ¡Palante!
